"Establishment Republicrats" WANTED WEST GONE!! THAT is why they changed his district!! He is a Tea Party favorite and the Republicrat Machine does not like anyone that is involved in that movement! West was targeted by his own party and they were willing to give up that seat to a Democrap just to get rid of Allen West!!!

The Republicans did NOT realign the district. There was a state constitutional amendment pushed through by DEMOCRATS when they lost the stae congress that put the redistricting in the hands of a "non-partisan" (read DEMOCRAT LED) committee, and had to be approved by the Stae Supreme Court (the same that tried to change state law in the Bush/Gore election in 2000, and was overturned). We lost Sandy Adams (Tea Party Republican), and Alan (The Gorilla) Grayson was elected this time all due to the "non-partisan" redistricting.

Allen West isn't giving up his Congressional seat until every vote is counted properly and for good reason. West has described his refusal to concede a matter of preserving the democratic process and believes many mistakes have been made in counting ballots cast in his race against Democrat Patrick Murphy. Now, Florida Election Supervisor Gertrude Walker agrees with him and his supporters.
