Not for now. But, Dianne Feinstein and many other libs are on record stating that they would ban guns if they could the votes or swing the political winds in such a direction as to accomplish that. Obama wanted a national concealed carry ban and a national firearms registry. Registration always leads to confiscation. Look at California and what they did with "assault weapons". They required registration and then passes a law banning them. That made it easy to confiscate them.

Connecticut Senator Richard Blumenthal has plans to introduce a bill that if passed would require background checks on ammunition purchases. It's called the Ammunition Background Check Act and late yesterday Blumenthal took to Twitter to explain his position by posting the following graphics.

"Ammo sales need same instant background checks as guns. I'm introducing the Ammunition Background Check Act," Blumenthal wrote.
