Nothing will be done until we can stop these 2 cults of destruction. One is the religion of the democrat party and the other is the republican party. The "little" people who join and bow, scream and finger point is good for the cult, but bad for the country. Within these cults is a belief that each is better than the other, and it's better to die believing than compromise and live another day. Cult rules are passed down to innocent children, who grow up angry, hateful, and demanding. Both sides are supporting the empty suited powerful people who do NOTHING but steal their freedom and liberties: elites who are worst than carpetbaggers. Get off your knees, stop bowing, open your eyes, quit the cult, and become an American!

I believe in liberty. This is worth dying for.

That said, I wholeheartedly agree with the general premise of your statement: "Both sides are supporting the empty suited powerful people who do NOTHING but steal their freedom and liberties: elites who are worst than carpetbaggers. Get off your knees, stop bowing, open your eyes, quit the cult, and become an American!"

Compromise over the last 100 years has been the path of creeping incrementalism for the progressives whose design is to enslave the proles in service to the elite you so decry.

To declare your so bright line of immediate and overly simplistic cure does not undo 100 years of enslavement and dependence on the pittance of government handouts. It will take a hundred years or more to undo what the founding fathers worked so hard to prevent.

I disagree on that hundred years, Earle10. We may flounder around for a hundred years, maybe more, maybe much less. But the change must now be so massive that only oveturning the rotten apple cart will scotch the tyrants and bring back a significant level of Liberty. This sort of thing does not take place slowly. It happens rapidly and drastically, or not at all.

Lois, your only hope is smaller gov't. Only one party speaks about smaller gov'ts (though in practice it fails - mainly because of the entrenchment afforded by the Democrats). The Democrats only speak and act to enlarge gov't.

Here's a news flash, girl, when all the people are on the dole, nothing will get done and no wages will be earned. If that is the case when we are totally governed by your ideology and on the dooe, why should we settle for even 1/2 being on the dole? Why even if 10% are on the dole?

The only way that works is to either fend for your self or die off from starvation.

We need a new foreign policy and we need to spend a lot less money.

That’s the message stock market is telling us.

It’s a message painted in big bold letters and we’d be wise to read it.

We need a foreign policy that uses the proven lessons we learned from the Cold War; a policy that pares back our commitment of troops to combat operations.

We need a fiscal policy that we learned during the 30 years from the 1960s to 1990, when our economy only did well as we restrained government spending to an amount...
