LA: My question was your answer. I believe it is reasonable to limit the sale of firearms. Persons with felony convictions for weapons assaults have forfeited their right to own a gun.

Like I've stated I am not opposed to firearms or bear arms or whatever. It would be interesting to hear how you interpret the word ARMS. At its inception "arms" referred to bayonets, muskets and swords, Today "arms" refer to stealth fighters and missiles. Would you support the use practice and private ownership of anti-aircraft missiles?

This leads to the conclusion that everyone is in favor of gun control. Its just a matter of degree.

HEy Buck glad you could join us. So your first post is to insult me. Thats not a very good starting position. Before you blather any further let me catch you up on the discussion. I started by saying that liberals have no interest in taking away weapons fro citizens. I back this up with the facts that 1) as a liberal I think firearms are fine and 2) close to 100% of my liberal friends agree firearms are fine. 3) There has been no campaign effort to ban firearms. then LA asked: what do I know about gun control. . to which I answered by posing the question is it reasonable to limit illegal firearm sales? To which it was agreed that there were cases in which said limitations are reasonable?
