We allow 1 million LEGAL immigrants a year to come here and become citizens-- more BY FAR than any other country in the world! We are the most ethnically diverse country ALREADY! It is NOT that "our immigration system is broken" is instead that our ENFORCEMENT system that is broken. Too many (on both sides) profit one way or another from ILLEGAL aliens, while Middle America gets stuck with the social pathologies-- crime, gangs, illegitimacy's, dropouts, barrio blight, then guvment dependence. Our friends left the meeting mightily miffed.
