Suppose you had to answer the famous Ronald Reagan questions as you consider voting this year: Are you better off than you were 4 years ago? Is it easier for you to go to the store and buy things than it was 4 years ago? Is there more or less unemployment in the country than there was 4 years ago? Is America as respected throughout the world as it was? Is America as strong as we were 4 years ago? HOW does the ObaMessiah win if those questions are asked by Romney? Mitt, just shrug off the ad hominem personal attacks and KILL him with the economy! People vote their pocketbooks! "It's the economy, stupid!"

The liberal press is finally enunciating what the rest of already knew through pure common sense.

As poll after poll shows that Obama’s management of the economy will be the number one issue for voters, the liberal press has suddenly come to the conclusion that, yes, Virginia, there is an election under way.

Despite months of manufactured good news on the job and employment front, average voters are doing what average voters do: vote their own pocketbooks, not those of their neighbors in the Beltway.
