a little humor amid a tense week-- A black kid asks his dad, "Dad, what's democracy?" (Wait...the black kid doesn't know his Dad...let's start over....) A black kid asks his Mom, "Mama, what's a democracy?" "Well, son, that's when whites work every day so we can get all our welfare benefits!" "But mama, don't the white people get pi_ssed off about that?" "Sure they do, but that's called RACISM"

It is a volatile comment, but Ken Hamblin, the black commentator, said that Blacks expect better conduct out of whites than they do of themselves. Given the race riots we have seen and the lack of reciprocal response from Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, and the NAACP when whites are attacked by blacks, I totally concur. A white TV announcer was brutally savaged, mangled, and killed in her home in Little Rock by a black invader, but there was absolutely no response from any black group. There were also no white protests. Whites tend to expect better conduct of themselves than they do of blacks.

Waaay too much truth in that one.

Wow, the latent racism is coming out in comments like this. To say that ALL blacks are on welfare, have no fathers in the home, that only whites work to pay taxes is a lot of BS. What about socialist countries where everyone is on welfare such as some Scandinavian countries where most people are white?

...Why not dismount that high, high horse Emilie, and realize that the “humor” in any joke is it’s relativity to the truth?
Have we all become so cowed by political correctness that it's unacceptable now to poke fun at stereotypes that anyone with a brain knows is a “stereotype”?
Are you a self-appointed monitor for Irish jokes? Men jokes? Blond jokes? Muslim Jihadist jokes? Woman jokes? Walmart employee jokes? Forester jokes? Politician jokes??? …Or are you only “offended” if it’s related to a socially popular cause?
I’d love for you to be able to lighten up, but If that just can’t be done, please don’t let the gate hit your high, high horse in the butt on his way out.

It's a damm joke! But there is only humor where there is truth, inconvenient though that might be to you, Emilie

72% of black children are reared in a single parent home, almost always by the Mom-- versus 24% of white children...ergo, 3 TIMES the rate

The headline of a recent article by the Washington Post’s Peter Wallsten capsulizes, inadvertently, the supreme paradox of the Obama presidency.

“Obama struggles to balance African America’s hopes with country’s as a whole,” it says.

The story documents Obama’s struggles over the last four years, which continue today, to avoid overplaying his hand as the first black president, yet to also not ignore this fact.

But nowhere does Wallsten note the irony that four years ago many understood the meaning of Obama’s election as the beginning of the end of the perception of black America as a world apart from the...
