re: How has President Obama failed? *********************** How has Obama NOT failed?! Oh yeah, intelligence/the military found and killed some bad militant Islamics. But nobody abroad truly respects or trusts us as he apologizes for our alleged Colonialism. The guvment taking over H/C, BUT not dealing with cost controls (because the lawyers own the Left) is a DISASTER! Obama regulates everything; kills the pipeline & stanches drilling, even as he squanders $ billions on green energy (Solyndra, et al). And we sure get a charge out of subsidizing the Volt! Guvment Motors will NEVER pay us back 'cause he bailed out UAW, while most banks have-- at a nice profit. He is making welfare and Food Stamps a new normal (wealth transfer, baby!).

How has Obamacare failed? My son is 24 is covered now. I appreciate that. Pre-existing conditions are no longer a valid excuse. I appreciate that.

We need regulation to stop unbridled greed that turns into pollution, outsourcing, unprotected food products, safety, bank failures, etc. Unregulated activity is one of the reasons we are in the financial mess we are in.

Can you name one piece of legislation or regulation that has assisted you in anyway? You mentioned pre-existing conditions and covering your 24 yr old son. Well shifting the burden to someone else is not really helping, theft is the preferred term. Insider trading, the housing collapse, ponzi schemes, gun walking are all either unlawful activities or highly regulated and have been for some time. They seem to have been on the uptick lately, in spite of the "regulation". Murder is a crime, and has been ever since Charlton Heston copied the Ten Commandments. Check the murder rate and see if it too has increased slightly.
Regulation does not stop unlawful activity, it lists punishments for, but only if the entity is "judgement proof".

O'Bama's Occupy Wallstreet didn't make sense to anyone in Main Street America. His gas prices don't help the wallets of Main Street America. The grocery prices don't make sense to Main Street America. The closed businesses that have existed for years and are now closed don't make sense to Main Street America. All of this is bad new for O'Bama. Weigh reality against supposition by the Lame Stream Media, and we say Bye-Bye O'Bama.

Say what. Obama had nothing to do with OWS. He is at the mercy of speculators on gas prices same as any politician. The economy is actually improving. You are giving him way too much credit/blame and all the Fox / conservative talking points in the world will not convince normal citizens that Romney is better.

You are right, I do believe he had nothing personally to do with OWS. But he rest of the Dem/Libs did, thy let OWS get away with "murder" while trashing the Tea Party for "Jay Walking".
He easily could have permitted many things that would have dropped gas prices and didn't (pipeline for one, allowing exploration and drilling by OUR country for another).
And except for a few, very few, small instances the economy IS NOT improving! Go ask the 18-26% real unemployed, not just the gov. figures for those putting in for unemployment.
And by he way, would you still be this pro-Obama if he was not HALF black or Muslim (yeh I know he says he's Christian)?
After watching the national media's performance since the party conventions, one can only hope that journalism students are out on summer safari or some Third World Peace Corps mission. Anything to avoid this mess of a profession. Sean Hannity is right. The establishment news media are dead. Whatever remains has only one standard. If it helps Obama, it's "news." If it doesn't, reporters should move on; there's nothing worth covering.

Our media don't just report "news" unfavorable to Romney. They obsess over it, complete with repetitive and thoroughly unnecessary incantations that Romney's campaign is hopeless. On September 17, perhaps...
