It was SO TELLING when Romney noted that the economy has been slower this year than last, and slower LAST year than the year before-- when Biden had brayed about "the summer of recovery." My ONLY concern is that so many who vote are ignorant and/or vote as guvment dependents...fully 42% NOT counting retirees are indeed net federal guvment takers now...and that is GROWING as the Left has intended. Guvment dependency means hegemony/power and job security for the Left-- and the demise of America as we slouch toward becoming Greece or Spain.

Actually, that's not entirely fair to Carter. His budget deficits were minuscule next to Obama's, and in response to the Soviet attack on Afghanistan he began the defense buildup that Ronald Reagan accelerated.
