Law departments must abide by magazine capacity laws as well as law abiding citizens, In a recent shooting two officers were initially shot one in the chest and the other in the shoulder, A third plainclothes officer was distracted during the melee when the injured officers K-9 turned on the him while all officers returned fire, , The result: 60 rounds fired and only 3 rounds hit the perpetrator, Had the officers been in New York and limited to 7 round magazines we would have 3 dead officers and 1 dead K9, As well as additional victims had the criminal escaped.

Obama to Use Executive Order on Gun Control
