When the KGB opened their files guess what ,over 80% of the people McCarthy accused were listed as agents or sympathizers, so I guess you could say he was right and it's leftist propaganda that has lasted about him, if you keep telling the same lie over and over it will stand with those who aren't interested in the truth. Which these days appears to be half the voters in America.
