You have not overstated my enthusiasm! I am definitely in a "give'em hell mode." I'm old enough to know this president is wrong, wrong, wrong; but young enough to still kick some butt! I have been to a tea party here in JAX, and will keep my eyes and ears open for other protests. Keep the faith, baby!

I completely agree with your post. It brings me great comfort to know there are like-minded people "out there."

Writing and calling my senators seems to fall on deaf ears here in Florida. Even the lame duck republican, who is not seeking re-election, will not vote the right way. At least my congressman totally gets what is going on, and can be counted on, but that's just one vote.

I am ready to protest and march on Washington these days. If there is a movement out there to do the same, let me know!

Burt, It was like reading a letter from a dear, funny, articulate friend! I loved your columns. In fact, the first time I EVER posted a comment was after one of your columns that I read back in March 2009.

I will definitely be reading your columns on the other sites. You are such a good writer, who uses humor pointedly. Always a real feast for the brain and the funny bone.
