Quayle did not listen to the constituents in CD9 who begged him to represent us. He did not listen to the State and County party leadership who tried to persuade him that he would win in CD9 and prevent radical leftist Kristin Sinema from a seat in Congress. He didn't care about the statistical analysis that showed he had a greater advantage in CD9. I suspect he was listening to the Go Along to Get Along Rino Republicans in the Beltway who would dearly love to see David Schweikert slapped down. But then, I'm just a crazy conspiracy theory, conservative cynical voter from CD9.

The fiscal watchdog organization Club for Growth is calling the Congressional primary race in Arizona’s newly redistricted CD6 the most watched Republican congressional primary race in the country. Due to Arizona gaining a new House seat and redistricting, incumbent House Republicans David Schweikert and Ben Quayle saw their districts overlap. The redistricting committee, which is controlled by the left, did this to Republicans purposely. Quayle’s house ended up barely inside of Arizona’s new CD9.
