Well said! I wish we wake up and do the right thing by calling "the emperor is naked" before he gets out of office so we don't leave our children a legacy of the end justifies the means, letting our children think it is fine to lie and deceit, as long as one achieves his.her goals.
You are on the money!
We THE POEPLE need to fight the"4th Power" the media is and forced them to be honest. No more already elected election of any candidate. We need a Media blackout; so they star paying attention. Can any conservative organization lead something like this? If we don't take on the media we will continue eating cardboard flakes, treat every ill with snake, and accept elected servants already elected by the media. Welcome to Venezuela!

I have an idea. I am concerned with the lack of professionalism displayed by most Media outlet and "professional journalists" for the last few years, in our country WE DONT HAVE REAL NEWS!!! which is sad and scary. LETS DECLARE A MEDIA BLACKOUT DAY, perhaps SEPTEMBER 30th, lets not turn our televisions on, or buy a newspaper, lets cancel all newspapers subscription on September 30th. LETS SEND A MESSAGE to the prostituted print, television and radio media... WE DESERVE BETTER, we want real news not the regurgitated opinion of most bone-heads delivering biased news and blatant misinformation. We don't live in Venezuela! I am tired of this game, how about you? ANY FOLLOWERS?

As a nation we have lost the integrity to "call it like it is" replacing it for political correctness. In Dominican Republic, a mostly Catholic nation in the 1960s the life of a mother was considered above the life of the unborn, BUT NO, abortion was not legal or considered a choice. Our dilemma is that we want to be politically correct and have it both ways, to officially make killing a baby easy, without questioning the motives, period! Considering the live of the unborn a mere choice, left up to the winds of situational ethics. That's a shame. Respect for human life and dignity should be the law of the land and abortion the exemptions to the rule.

Thanks for your dissertation! I am a semiretired television producer, and have gotten ulcers over the issues you numbered in your article. I am absolutely tire of the double standard of the media.
