Having read some of your previous posts - some pretty venomous attacks on people you disagree with - I think your halo is a bit tarnished. It's hard, isn't it, to "love others as your Savior told you to do". You're going to have to work a bit more diligently on that aspect of your "Christianity" or your Savior might actually become cross with you. Obviously, raising children to be happy, productive human beings is a worthy endeavor. Good for you...you're happy with your choices and you are to be applauded. Just don't assume, for even a second, that your choices are a one size fits all. Many of us see no charm in raising children and should we accidentally become pregnant will abort the pregnancy ...with no more thought than flicking...

Knowing myself fairly well, I don't recall ever needing a "defence mechanism". But then I'm not a Psychiatrist (as you, no doubt, are). I just know evil when I see it (kind of like pornography). The evil I see here is the elevation of the fetus and the complete disregard of an already living human being... namely a woman...who is to be forced to become a mother against her will. Nothing, NOTHING is more evil than that.
