Agreed. And, if I may add, the House should permit amendments to the bill, in committee and on the floor, by both Republicans and Democrats. I'm sure most, if not all, of the Democrat amendments would be defeated, but it's time to re-establish full debate on legislation. Let the minority have their voice. It will do the process some good.

Dignity? Fine. And then commence with the slash and burn attacks on the Democrats and everyone of their corrupt ideas. In their face, aggressive, CONSTANT repudiation of their intiiatives. And when the country and its economy falls apart in the next four years, we blame Obama and the Democrats for EVERY bad thing that happens. The goal: Four years from now, voters are blaming Obama the same way they are still blaming Bush today.
