Madison Avenue's Moral Madness

If we want to do something positive about changing the recipe of the cyanide-laced cultural stew, the time for talking is over. We need to take action and unite to "just say no" for starters. Change channels, boycott T.V. programs or networks, cancel cable T.V. subscriptions, develop alternatives, invade the culture with clean shows, inform the advertisers, join National Federation of Decency, get pastors and church leaders on board, etc. Let Hollywood and Madison Avenue know that "enough is enough." It is not enough to have a million join this movement but 20 million Americans WOULD make a difference. It is one thing to suggest a plan but it is another to remove ourselves from the cultural stew. The alternative is to be boiled to death.
Angus T. Jones told the truth. In a religious video posted on YouTube, the former child actor who's the "half" man of the CBS sitcom "Two and a Half Men" shocked the celebrity press by saying "I don't want to be on it. Please stop watching it. Please stop filling your head with filth."

Calling this show "filth" is like calling your Christmas tree an evergreen. Yet about 14 million Americans still love filling their head with this filthy show, and they don't want to be told what they're doing.

It doesn't surprise, then, that the pundits have turned on...
