Has anyone been watching the former Speaker's interviews? "On the Record"? He wants to colonize the moon because it will be easier to transport water from there to Mars. OK. "Progressive" thinking is great. However, don't we have quite a few more urgent priorities that we need to address at this time. He is either pandering to his current audience in Florida or he has completely lost his mind.

It is humorous that you and Ms Kelly have no substitive arguments against this opinion piece so you utilize quotes out of context and cheap shots against the author to make a case. Really?!! Aren't these the same tactics that our friends on left use? No wonder you are obviously such ardent Newt supporters.

I guess you didn't read the rest of the article that you linked to... "Obviously, Reagan desired to maintain FDR’s reputation despite his profound disagreements with the direction FDR’s policies took the country. Reagan’s dislike of New Deal programs is evident, as illustrated in one of his radio commentaries from the 1970s. In it, he compares the policies of the late Roman Empire with the New Deal and sees some striking similarities." There's more too. You might want to read the entire article next time.
