In response to:

Food Stamp Participation the Highest It's Ever Been

This is certainly one of the ways Democrats cultivate a dependency on government... give it enough time, and soon the majority of people will vote for whoever gives the most free stuff. It's an assurance of continued power. Its dispicable to ruin the working will of a nation . This administration is hell bent on just that,..dependency and entitlements. I want to whisper a little secret to everybody out there collecting free goodies (Its not sustainable)!

Do you realize that the average food stamp benefit for a family of four is around $400 a month? That is $100 a person or $3.28 a day. I mean, who wouldn't want to stay at home and earn that kind of money?

Now, the Democrats will try to complain about people starving if we cut these moochers off the public dole, but come on, $ 3.28 a day? I've given bums more money than that. These 'poor' families just need to show a little initiative. Have junior out washing car windows during rush hour after school and I'm sure he could pull in twice that.

What is a fair share of other peoples earned money taken by force?

What is a fair share of other peoples earned money taken by force? You act as if the Government is the only source of Charity. Point of Fact there is no such thing as a charity which takes by force to get votes.

0%, Comrade Quix.

All true Americans know that taxation is theft and the Constitution (as originally written and handed down via divine inspiration) would prohibit taxation except that socialists managed to get an amendment put in that defiled the document.

33% top bracket? After all, that's what this country has, en aggregate, currently decided is fair.
John3138 Wrote: Apr 23, 2012 6:24 PM
So don't live here anymore. The Constitution does not prohibit taxation (check the enumerated powers again), and taxation has been part of the nation since it was founded. If you're unhappy, move. It's a free country--you're free to leave.

I'm not sure if you are replying to my post or not. But I'm curious what your take on the 10th Amendment is...
Do you think the Federal Government should be in the business of Charity, Adoption, ???
Where do you draw the line for centrailized power?

33%? Seriously, next you'll be sending us all off to work farms and gulags, Ivan. Go back to Russia.
John3138 Wrote: Apr 23, 2012 6:36 PM
Legally? Ask the Supreme Court. They're the ones charged with answering that question.
John3138 Wrote: Apr 23, 2012 6:36 PM
last time I checked, 33% is top bracket in this country.
