We are suffering "Culture Wipe".. Not from within, but from outside. Perhaps it is time to evaluate and regroup.. To be a majority we must reject exclusiveness, embrace righteousness and redefine our parameters all the while we agree that those whose hard work makes them better in life shall and should be rewarded. After all, anything less is nothing more than tokenism. Nepotism should be discouraged and erased. Life is life. Not your life. Your child should never be given anything other than a boost. Not an environment to dynasty.

The problem is, Lobconehead,is that a growing percentage of the population no longer interprets reality this way. You're appealing to timeless truths but we no longer recognize, or at lest we no longer are familiar with evaluating things from that perpsective.

There is a growing move towards group identitiesdetermining what is important. We are descending into, as one columnist on TH has suggested, politics by demographics as opposed to principles, whether political, religious or economic.

And we now have the majority of our government officials either complicit in this transaction or ignorant of it.

Small minds always leap to the answers given the last time around, which is probably why Maxine Waters keeps getting re-elected. But the last time is not necessarily the same as this time. A terrorist attack is not the same as the Cold War, a war in Afghanistan is not the same as a war in Iraq, and Mitt Romney is not the same as John McCain or Bob Dole.
