Isn't there a value in a child having both of his parents in the household? A mother and a donor, a father and a donor, are not the same as mother and father. At some point in time don't we all wonder just how we fit in with our family? I do X but I don't know why...until I see my uncle do X, until I see my mother do X; thus, I can relate to my uncle and mother, and they can help me understand myself. If obscenity or indecency are indeed harmful to communities then shouldn't it be stopped? Air pollution of one kind is regulated regardless of the fact that some choose to breathe it. Obscenity and indecency are widely considered to be a different kind of air pollution. So, what's to be done? Suck it up? Maybe it is too difficult to define standards. Still, I wish we could come together and try to do the difficult.
