Seriously, I am beginning to think this had little to nothing to do with catching and prosecuting illegal gun purchasers. I am beginning to think this had a lot, maybe nothing but to do with defaming otherwise legit gun sales and demonizing otherwise legit gun dealers with the taint of illegally supplying guns to anybody with money enough to buy them. You pick the motivations for it all but when you get that this program format was picked up run with again, by gun hating libs, and the hamhanded manner in which it seems to have been run. It makes me wonder what exactly was it that was "botched" here, the operation they are saying they were engaged in or the operation they were really running and now trying so desperately hard to keep hidden!
