Don't Blame Romney

This article is just one of many to come rationalizing why we lost. The real answer is multifold. 1. Socialists think long term. They keep coming back. Conservatives tend to respond only to problems. They fix them, then go about their business, leaving the field to the socialists, who keep working like termites. 2. Conservative billionaires don't dedicate their time and money to changing the world as do Soros and others. 3. Conservatives have abandoned our educational system, leaving it in the hands of dedicated progressives. We're reaping the harvest now. 4. The Republican party has been infiltrated by RINOs, who stay hidden until the crucial moment. Think John Roberts and other "surprise" votes.

Point three is the most important! If Republicans ever win the presidency again they should mandate that schools teach America's free enterprise system from bank savings accounts to investing on the stock market. This is absolutely critical! And: There Ain't No Such Thing As A Free Lunch! Which millions of blacks and Hispanics are going to learn the hard way!

If they had told the truth, who would have stayed glue to Fox News. I wouldn't.
Just some thoughts.

We spent billions of dollars and billions of words on an election to switch from President Obama, a Democratic Senate and a Republican House to President Obama, a Democratic Senate and a Republican House.

Every election predictor was wrong, except one: Incumbents usually win.

Republicans have taken out a sitting president only once in the last century, and that was in 1980 when Ronald Reagan beat Jimmy Carter. Sadly, Reagan's record remains secure.

The Democrats ran up against the incumbency problem in 2004. The landslide election for Democrats in 2006 suggests that Americans were not thrilled with...
