The terms ‘assault weapon’ and ‘assault rifle’ are often confused,” they say. “According to Bruce H. Kobayashi and Joseph E. Olson, writing in the Stanford Law and Policy Review, ‘Prior to 1989, the term ‘assault weapon’ did not exist in the lexicon of firearms. It is a political term, developed by anti-gun publicists to expand the category of assaults rifles.’” Read more at

Leslie, these un-American POS using the term "Assault..." anything to reference a gun of any kind is a political creation of these left winged pinkos.

There are so many holes in the political arguments offered by these pud sucking perverts, when being reviewed by the educated ear it is laughable.

An example from back in the 90's...."TinyDick"Clinton and his butch, the PIAPS managed to outlaw a bullet known as the "Black Talon"....solely based on the name. For Federal offered a round that was every bit the equal of delivering a lethal punch as was the "Black Talon"....But, it's name being, Hydro-Shock was not nearly as sexy in a gun grabbing politicians eyes, so it was never mentioned, or placed on the "band bullet" list.

Bottom line folks.....If you are a real American who loves the USA more than life itself, you do not fear your next door neighbor being allowed to own a 20mm rotory gatlin gun if this is what they want to own.

If you support the federal government being allowed to wipe it's rather large Obutthole using the Parchment the 2nd Amendment is penned on, you are a pud sucking perverted un-American POS.....So stop with the constant whine and live with this fact.

Always liked Hydra-Shoks. Carry them in my .45, 9mm and .38.

CVN, I've kept a double stack clip full of them in this 9mm I have had laying out on my desk for the past ten years, and the neither the bullets or this pistol have jumped up and opened fire on me yet....According to these gun grabbing un-American POS I must have one lazy 9mm....

BTW I feel completely at ease walking into a gun show convention with people walking in and out of the building with guns. Guns everywhere and it does not bother me.

A November 2012 Mass Shootings Analysis report issued by the New Jersey Intelligence & Analysis Unit (NJ ROIC) in partnership with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security shows semiautomatic handguns are the most common weapons used to carry out mass shootings. The report was issued one month before the Newtown shooting in which, according to the coroner and police, the killer used a semi-automatic rifle.

"The mass killing incidents this year at a Sikh temple in Wisconsin and a movie theater in Colorado garnered international attention and focused the efforts of public and private sector security officials on...
