The emphasis of the Right seems to be "mental health." Just who will define that? The Left? They have already normalized moral relativism, the worship of celebrity, moral philistinism and narcissism--truly a lethal combination. All the worst gun tragedy perpetrators were Left-leaning. No doubt the primary benchmark of mental health would relate to worldview. Do you really think a new mental health priority would be anything other than a new tool for those who are the real cause of the problem: Godless, Leftists?

Last week, the Washington Post published an opinion piece by a Marine captain titled, "I Killed People in Afghanistan. Was I Right or Wrong?"

The column by Timothy Kudo, who is now a graduate student at New York University, is a fine example of the moral confusion leftism has wrought over the last half century. Captain Kudo's moral confusion may predate his graduate studies, but if so, it has surely been reinforced and strengthened at NYU.
