BREAKING: SCOTUS Sides With Hobby Lobby

How are muslim health care needs different from anyone else? That statement smacks of racism. Care to elaborate? A practicing muslim would not wish to pay for contraception either. Its about religous freedom.
Sure congress dictates the VA budget the Constitution gives them complete fiscal control. Once funds are allocated for construction they can't be used for personnel. That was my point.
It is males who are the majority of the armed forces and our public education system has failed them. Title IX has destroyed opportunities in sports which is often the catalyst for many men to stay in school to remain eligible to participate in sports. Sports are also a great preparation for military service. The liberal war on men will eventually lead to the destruction of our nation because the time will come when we can no longer defend it.
Max, you are correct but if you, John and I stop supporting the Republican establishment pretty soon you have a movement. The only person whose actions you can control is you. Sorry enough preaching for the day:)
Henry, the abortion issue is a race to see if the complete disintegration of American morals comes before abortion can be abolished. The problem is we have a large part of the population who are Godless hedonists who already know that abortion is murder they don’t care because they don’t value human life except their own. This group is growing. Their allies could be called the ostrich camp. They suspect there is a problem with abortion but they figure if they don’t dig into the issue too deeply it does not effect them. Maybe the most despicable group is the hypocrites who know abortion is wrong but wish it to be there anyway in case they may need one someday, I mean supporting a cause is one thing but having a baby is really inconvenient. I agree with you the tide is turning but we need more true believers in the Pro-life cause to have a chance of getting Roe V. Wade abolished.
How any government agency spends money is directed by Congress. The money used for purchasing solar panels is different than the money used to hire more schedulers. It would be illegal for a VA Administrator to use money earmarked for construction on hiring new personnel. If you were in charge of a VA Hospital and you wished to get on the good side of those we have in charge in Washington don’t you think building solar panels would put you in their good graces? Don’t most people wish to please their bosses and get ahead? Beat the VA up for real problems purchasing solar panels is not one of them.

David, I agree with you even if it meant the Republicans lose the Senate. If the National Republicans treated Mississsippi TEA Party members as racists we need to send a message.
Even Democrats must see what a disaster Obama is as President.

Democrats in Mississippi would be smart to work with the McDaniel camp and expose this. If proved true the TEA Party in Mississippi should sit home on election day. If proved that National Republicans supported this maybe we should all sit home on election day. If true this is despicable.
Let's face it after 911 the majority of the country(D or R) was cheering DHS and the Patriot Act being passed. That is more about human nature and fear than politics. But you are correct you never said what Obama did was equal.
Drifter, Thom is a recovering Democrat so he deserves some slack he may have been in the same civics class with Obama where they learned about our 57 states and 5 branches of Government:)
