“Common sense alone tells you that people drawn to its ranks may feel extra temptation look to find ways to limit what they surrender to the rogue federal bureaucrats who have supposedly seized the nation”. That’s where Peter Goodman is correct. Progressives don’t understand the basic concept of the government – to provide those services to the people that they need and willing to pay for these services in the form of taxes. Nothing more. No common welfare, no wealth redistribution, no charity to the selected ones, no health care, etc. All the rest is an individual responsibility and individual good will.
on a pessimistic note, but the only thing left is to fight progressives hard on every level and to bring up our children and grandchildren with conservative views so that they would continue to fight.
Obama does not have to think that he “can get away” with this. He already got away and will get away with any scandal in the future. He got re-elected and will continue to RULE. And impeachment is not a realistic option at all. Even if GOP (I don’t say we, because I don’t see myself as a republican. I am an “extra chromosome” conservative) wins Senate in 2014 (which is also very problematic) a lot of RINOs like John McCain, Mitch McConnell, Graham, etc. would not vote for impeachment. Also there are too many cultivated by Demicraps entitlement parasites who don’t know and don’t care about where we are heading, don’t give a cr-p about freedom and Constitution (53% still approve Obama job performance – latest CNN poll). Don’t want to finish

Did not hear that the consulate was open to "demonstrate to Libyan people our respect and trust". Actually Stevens was meeting over the consulate turkish rep for the transfer of weapons to Syrian rebels. That was a CIA operation but everyone wants to keep it under raps including our idiots republicans like John McCain and Lindsey Graham that agitate for US involvment in helping rebels in Syria. Like Egypt and Libya was not enough.

This is absolutely excellent idea. Just talking about it and see the reaction of all these guys on MSNBC. Remember how outraged the demicrats were during Republican house and senate when Republicans discussed using nuclear option to pass bills. How they lamented that using filibuster is a long held tradition of a the Congress.
Well, guys. Now as a consolation to us all, as late Charlton Heston said "Out of my dead hads"
Poor Loiso12013, they all are after you, these stupid men with guns seeking mob justice. But as a consolation, you don’t have to worry about being chased by zombies. Zombies eat human brain.

Well, I have a dear friend , Dr. Marek Mrugala, that I've worked with for several years but did not communicate lately. He is a very strong conservative like yourself (anyone who comes from the countries of socialist workers paradise would be because thay have experienced on their own skin). Anyway, it was good reading your posts. It reflects my own perception that this country is sliding like Judge DR Robert Bork wrote "Slouching toward Gomorrah". And we have to do everything in our power to stop this.

Fact-Free Crusades

“But gun control has become one of those fact-free crusades, based on assumptions, emotions and rhetoric.” Being a bit fictitious I’d say who cares about all this fuss about gun control. I have a 380 British army, 9 mm Russian Tokarev, Ruger Mark III 22 target practice and 7.62 SKS carbine with optics and, like Charlton Heston said: ’From my cold dead hands.” And theonly thing that they would achieve is to turn me from law-abiding to non law-abiding citizen.
