My blood boiles when I hear such stupid do-goders statements of the fools. You are an ignirant simpleton who mixes God given talent and scrambled eggs trying to make sense of it. You don't understand that we are not against helping the poor and downthroden and less fortunate (although my opinion is the most of those people are "less fortunate" because they are making less effort to become more forutnate. "By the sweat of your face you shall eat bread" -Genesis ch. 3). We are against giving money to government to take care of those people because government is least capable of doing this, full of corrupt and selfish politicians who would use these money to stay in power and enrich themseves. Charity should be personal , not government

You are absolutely correct. "Fairness" is in eyes of the beholder. The only fair statement is "Life is not fair. Get over it". When it comes to fairness I always quote our &-th president Andrew Jackson: "Distinctions in society will ALWAYS exist under every JUST government. Equality of talents, of education, or of wealth can NOT be produced by HUMAN institutions". (capitalization is mine)

"Yet there is no plausible explanation as to why the marxist party looks at blacks as permanent govt wards" Yes, there is: "A government that robes Peter to pay Paul can always depend on the support of Paul" - George Bernard Shaw, 1944 -Everybody's Political What's What. BTW George B Shaw was a socialist but an honest person
The goal is very simple: to have a Constitutianal republic the way the founding fathers conceived it with government restricted rigidly to the functions outlined in the Constitution. The Constitution does not allow the federal government to be a charitable organization, does not call for the government to provide a safety net for the "poor and less fortunate", does not call for the federal government to rpovide education and health care. If we can get back to these basics we would have the best and most advantegeous country in the world that liberals (progressives, socialists, communists, etc.) trying to "transform".

"Ignorance is the most expensive commodity that we pay for in this country" Guess who said it. And to those who say "I don't listen what Obama says (or leftists) because I don't beleive them" are wrong. I'm a graduate of Air force academy of the former Soviet Union and we were always taught that you have to listen and understand your adversary in order to defeat him. I think this is a proper approach.

I always admired Dr. Walter E Williams for caustic sarcasm in his essays. After reading this one we can come to conclusion that most of the Congress and courts are either “with”out one ounce of brain” or pandering to mob by responding to their envy and jealousy of achievers. BTW. Almost 175 years ago a “progressive” by their time, one of the best presidents in USA history Andrew Jackson said:”Distinctions in society will always exist under every just government. Equality of talents, of education, or of wealth cannot be produced by human institutions”.

And you have to remeber that they take from you much more than they give because a lion share goes for their own use and for creating a number of useless jobs in government for people who will support them later.

Unfortunately, Synthia we all were forced to participate in a Ponzi scheme. Because your and mine contributions were (and are) used to make handouts to buy votes and support corrupt politicians. Do you have any idea how many people who did not contribute to Social Security and Medicare get these handouts in the form of Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Medicaid, Disability pensions, etc. ANd all this comes from Social Security. I personally know several emigrants who came to this country, never worked, never contributed anything to this country and get all these benefits. We call them programmers because all of them are on government programms. Do you have an idea how they cheat with cooperation of dishonest doctors and milk out Medicaid.

water. We have to adopt a consistent and long term approach to remove people from dependence mentality. It is not that easy to remove 47% of people not paying federal income tax and 46 million of food stamps recipients from government handouts
