Why Liberals Behave the Way They Do

The countries you name have cut taxes and are 10 times as business friendly as the US. Yes they have socialized medicine, they control cost by rationing. I worked in the medical industry and as of a few years ago the county I lived in had more MRI,s than the country of Canada. A lot of Canadians will tell you their health care is good because they have nothing to compare it to.

Ok I'll reluctantly accept your resume but generally someone who runs a business usually is fairly good at math and budgets and understands you can't spend your way to prosperity and you should know what is going on in our government can not work and increasing taxes by 35 billion a year with a 1.4 trillion deficit is phony politics and expecting the GDP to grow at at the same rate after raising taxes is like expecting a vehicle to accelerate at the same rate after hooking up a loaded trailer. i.e. I don't see how you could be a liberal

I'll run it down for you. I've had multiple careers (and quite a few miscellaneous jobs, including mail carrier, dish washer, taxi driver, construction laborer, and private investigator) over a 47 year span.

I spent 17 years in IT as computer operator, programmer, teacher, tech support, and salesman. I spent 10 years starting, owning, and running retail art galleries and frame shops. I spent about 3 years in the medical field as EMT and ER tech. I was an executive for 8 years in commercial construction companies, building warehouses and office buildings. For the last 8 years I've been a daytrader (I now work barefooted at home, with no employees or bosses -- love it).

So, no, I don't make up resume items for purposes of TH debate

Yeah Eric
I've heard stories like this before, during the Hillary Care controversy one of the networks did a special to do their part to promote it, the Olympics were going on at the time so they did what they called a health care Olympics, the US versus Canada and Cuba. They declared Cuba the gold metal winner Canada second and the US last. I don't believe even the dumbest liberal would believe that now.

Are you familiar with medical tourism?

For every rich foreigner who comes here for treatment, 20 Americans go abroad to places such as India or Mexico to get treatment at 1/10 the cost of the U.S. equivalent.

I have money and am, luckily, healthy and have insurance. But, except for emergency treatment, if I need a major procedure, I'll do my research and head to another country.

isn’t efficient it’s just that other governments militaries are so much worse and our military technology is developed by private enterprise.

Yeah Eric
I have noticed that every time I tell about what I have done you say you have done the same thing, Business or working in the medical industry etc. It's hard to take you serious. I have been outside the US I know and have European friends and can make comparisons. Canada has a history of running out of funds and delaying procedures and don't have the latest technology in any numbers. My German friends describe their medical system as giving you a bed to die in. Our high costs can be traced to out governments involvement in our medical system and law suits. The government has never run anything successfully, not social security not medicare not medicaid not the post office not anything and please don't bring up the military it

if you don't think countries with socialized medicine are worse than the US you should go there and try to get treatment! Wealthy people in those countries come here to get treatment, because despite all our problems we still have the best medical care in the world, at least for a little while longer.

I too have worked in the medical industry -- in the U.S. I was none too impressed. Nor have I been impressed with it as a consumer or as a business owner. It's ridiculously expensive (and still rising fast) and absolutely rife with mistakes. I have nothing outside the U.S. to compare it to, but doubt if the countries named are worse than the U.S. overall.

Also you left out the countries that are more like the US, Greece, Ireland,Spain and Portugal

My smash best-seller "Demonic: How the Liberal Mob Is Endangering America" has just come out in paperback -- and not a moment too soon! Democrats always become especially mob-like during presidential election campaigns.

The "root cause" of the Democrats' wild allegations against Republicans, their fear of change, their slogans and insane metaphors, are all explained by mass psychology, diagnosed more than a century ago by the French psychologist Gustave Le Bon, on whose work much of my own book is based.

Le Bon's 1896 book, "The Crowd: A Study of the Popular Mind," was carefully read by Adolf...
