Maybe I have an extraordinarily sensitive BS detector, but I never found Obama mellifluous, eloquent, or inspiring. Or maybe I'm just too old and too jaded to believe anyone who promises to be a messiah. He always came across to me as snarky, adolescent and narcissistic. He was trying to hide it of course, but as we've seen over the last couple of months, desperation reveals his lack of character.

He's always appeared to me as being shifty eyed. His head's always wobbling when he skirts around pertinent questions.

dolo-THANK U!~! I have more than a few times, implored folks "TO WATCH HIS EYES!" when he is speaking!

Couldn't agree more. Take him off the prompter and he is a stammering buffoon incapable of articulating a coherent thought.

From day one he struck me as someone "educated" beyond his intellectual capacity, and as an arrogant, condescending know-it-all, who in reality doesn't know sheep shlt from apple butter.

Well said ! BO's formerly shiny package has deteriorated into scrunched up tinfoil, useless for anything. Of course he was always just full of empty blather. He was obviously a bullish-tter, full of himself. Never slapped down for his obsequious, snide, arrogant self but surrounded by yes men/women. UGH!
In 2008, Barack "No Drama" Obama was the coolest presidential candidate America had ever seen -- young, hip, Ivy League, mellifluous and black, with a melodic and exotic name. Rock stars vied to perform at his massive rallies, where Obama often began his hope-and-change sermons by reminding the teary-eyed audience what to do in case of mass fainting.

Money, like manna from heaven, seemed to drop spontaneously into his $1 billion campaign coffers. Ecstatic Hollywood stars were rendered near speechless at the thought of Obama's promised Big Rock Candy Mountain to come -- peace, harmony, prosperity and "5 million new...
