Dear 3 yards & a cloud of dust Bam-guy - Once you get off the Turnpike and outside the major cities, it's really not a bad state. Of course property taxes, sales taxes and income taxes are too high and few outside Morris County in Northern Jersey can afford to retire here. And de Dems do control Trenton and most of the county legislatures, plus we have 2 imbecilic Senators, but, really, it's not all that bad - the beaches are pretty good, even if the local towns do try to exclude non-residents. but c'mon, it ain't that bad...

Dear Kathleen,

In elections the only one responsible for the outcome is the candidate. Romney had every chance to win and he didn’t. His bad, not Gary Johnson’s.

Unfortunately the GOP has too often put forward candidates that advocate the very policies that they criticize their opponent for.
