Secession isn't the answer, finding ways to peacefully resist erosion and attacks against our Constitution and liberties is. Can understand why almost a million Americans have signed the petitions. Though Glen signing a petition shouldn't worry people, anyone who writes their representative, that has a blog, a Facebook account that says anything politically unacceptable, shows up at a Tea Party event, votes against Obama or even reads Townhall or write "unacceptable" comments would be targeted. For the things you say, aren't you on the White House's list? Our Founders were of more courageous mettle, that we should aspire to.

The Single Reason Romney Lost

The economy was the central focus of the GOP campaign because that is all that really matters to the party leadership. Social, moral, Traditional values, immigration, ethnic issues just don't matter. Until there is a significant change in the thinking of the leadership, the emphasis in future elections will not significantly change. What is important to the rank and file party members won't really matter.

GOP Turns Sure Victory into Defeat

I've been a life long Conservative Republican, helped out the election campaigns in 2008 and 2012 trying to defeat Obama. I read these articles at Investors Business Daily in 2008 and had hoped GOP would've exposed his Marxist background/nature and they didn't. Everything that has occurred in the last 4 years and that will occur in the next 4 is a result of something I have a very sick feeling about. http://news.investors.com/special-report/516621-audacity-of-socialism.aspx I'm making new plans.
Excellent article on the issue Chuck. Thanks. Keep up the Good Fight! "If ever a time should come, when vain and aspiring men shall possess the highest seats in Government, our country will stand in need of its experienced patriots to prevent its ruin." -Samuel Adams
