Logically speaking, this was a publicity stunt based on a redirect. That unemployment is at 10% is a direct result of the Bush recession bottoming out. These phony republicans know this. They also know that TARP wasnt designed to work OVERNIGHT. Did they actually expect the economy to turn around in such a quick fashion.

Not really, So now they are doing a "redirect"
of the bottoming out of the Bush recession and attempting to attach its failures to a potus in obama who has been in office only 6 months...
that is laughable...any one with any amount of common sense can see thru this charade.

One hundred and thirty four Republican Members of Congress took to the House Floor yesterday in a stunt that rained down press coverage on the GOP, allowing them to highlight President Obama’s empty promises on the economy at a time when unemployment tops 10%.

The Members spoke for one minute apiece, in a series of soliloquies that lasted over three hours and centered around one key phrase: Where are the jobs?

“Wait, wait. Listen with me real close,” Rep. Peter Roskam, (R-Ill.) put his ear to the podium, pretending to try and hear something....
