The house Republicans should hold firm......no increase in tax rates......Period. Force Obama to agree to REAL tax and entitlement reform after extending the existing rates until such reform can be worked out. If he stubbornly refuses and insists on his "tax the rich" mantra, don't give an inch. Let him take us over the cliff and then he ALONE will own the recession that will occur. Maybe then the short-sighted "takers" who gave him his victory margin will see that big government can buy votes, but it can't produce wealth or well-paying permanent jobs.

If you are correct in your analysis, then the "prince of the power of the air" identified as Satan in the Bible, was the one who caused "Sandy". Therefore, Obama is his "chosen One" known by many titles such as the "man of sin", the "beast" and most infamous of all the "anti-Christ".

Even though I am/was a Republican I totally agree that "W" paved the way for Obamaism. He, and the republican congress before 2006, betrayed true conservative values in a variety of ways which Obama constantly exploited during the campaign. Remarkably, even to this day, exit polls revealed that many blamed Bush's policies for their rejecting Romney.
You forgot to mention another of Obama's heroics. He personally flew to Libya (using his Super powers) and rescued our ambassador and the three other defenders. Wait.....I'm getting further clarification.....No, that was not accurate. The real story is....... Sorry, we will have to wait until after the election to find out what the truth is.

The Real George McGovern

There is another current Democrat who should exercise some backbone and separate herself from the ultra-leftism that has a stranglehold on a once honorable party. That is none other than current Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, wife of "centrist" Bill Clinton. She could do herself, her party and her country a monumental service by resigning in protest of the current muddled cover-up of the whole Libyan mess. It would torpedo Obama's re-election bid, save the country from the leftward spiral we are experiencing, and, should Romney fail to deliver a robust recovery, would position herself as the logical choice to right the ship of state and re-establish the perceived prosperity of her husbands 2nd term.
