Maybe emergency rooms should continue treating those in need, but let's use the IRS to collect those patients' unpaid bills.

"We the People," with the responsibility and authority for self governance, are the slow learners: for years we have put into power those who disrespect the intent of our Constitution. Thomas Jefferson warned us: a poorly educated society will not remain free. His remedy: educate the populace; and our K-12 government monopoly is unlikely to accomplish that.

SCHOOL CHOICE FOR EVERY FAMILY is key to restoring freedom and recovering excellence. Thomas Jefferson warned us that a poorly educated society will not remain free; and he prescribed education as the remedy.

America's government K-12 school monopoly is clearly failing. School choice for every family is our best hope to restore freedom and excellence.
America's K-12 government monopoly school system is modeled after the Prussian mandatory schooling of 1819, intended to produce obedient middle managers and military officers. Uncle Sam's Plantation also requires obedience and dependence. My hope for restoring Freedom and restoring Excellence is SCHOOL CHOICE FOR EVERY FAMILY. As Thomas Jefferson warned us, a poorly educated society will not remain free: he prescribed good education of the populace as the remedy.

Thomas Sowell yet again "hits one out of the park." Regarding the pertinent observation "...in this era of dumbed-down education, many people have no clue as to what the facts are...." our best hope of rescuing Freedom and Restoring Excellence is to provide SCHOOL CHOICE FOR EVERY FAMILY as an alternative to the government monopoly K-12 school system.
