Sorry - it turns out the really wealthy voted for Obama so to me that means they voted to have their taxes increased and so I think we should. See in the GOP world we keep fighting to have low taxes for all sorts of good reasons and that allows the wealthy to take the very visible position of voting for tax increases because there is no downside for them. I say give them a downside. Start hitting them in the wealth arena not the income arena. Hit their foundations which are giving to liberals anyway and hit them hard.

The wealthy will not pay more in taxes. They can and will hire the expertise to avoid taxation.

Which is to my point - we have built a system that is rigged towards find loopholes and the wealthy can afford to look for them. So the key is to hit them where it hurts them and we can be done and should be done.
