French elections are fairly secure. To vote you are required to show your national id card and also your carte electorale. The carte electorale is sent at the beginning of the year when there is a vote and is a little paper booklet that gets a hole punched after you vote to show you voted, show up without those 2 things and you can't vote. Non citizens are not allowed to vote and the French, including my wife wonder why the US doesn't have a requirement to show id to vote.

Great points! If everyone recalls, the commies running our gubmint, invited UN delegates to observe our elections. What got little to no coverage by the left wing ministry of Obumbler's propaganda, was that these observers were shocked and appalled that we DIDN'T require a valid ID to vote! Bur, as long as Democrats win, anything is fair to them and laws are just a minor inconvenience.

Regarding the backlash against Phil Mickelson, it was a Forbes reporter's column ridiculing his statement that started it! I can't believe that Forbes, a pro-business publication, didn't fire that idiot anti-fiscal protection columnist!
