In response to:

A Few Words For Newt Gingrich

When Newt dropped out of the race, the true Statesman was lost and we the People were handed two Politicians and expected to pick the least of two evils as usual. Why is it the Parties and Media put down the one that can do the job and go with the one's that are so wrong. Could it be that they know if a real person is elected, they will lose power and the real person does what is actually needed for the People instead of what the Parties and the elite want. We the People are left with a choice between an Obama and a Republican version of him a Romney. We are told months before a convention who will win and lose, when told that enough, there are those that will say why vote then, my vote does not matter. Newt was the one and we lost.

I agree totally! Think I'll send a little check to help with his campaign debts. If everyone gave a little, would probably help a lot.

Amazing how well the dumbing down worked... If Romney gets elected we have 8 more Bush-like nothingness years, before "we the people" elect the next Clintonian Obamite to finsh what Clinton and Obama have started... If he doesn't, We're Done...

Newt & Santorum 2012 - Santorum & BabyPaul 2020 - BabyPaul & ? 2028, and our kids and grandkids would live in a world we could never even imagine... now they get a world we HAVE imagined, in our worst nightmares...

I voted for Newt in the CT primary even though I knew it wasn't going to do any good in this damn blue state.

Newt Gingrich finally made it formal. He's now ended his presidential race with characteristic bombast. The real news, the big surprise, was that he made it this far. And resisted dropping out for this long. The man has a real talent -- for ignoring reality.

If character really is fate, the Newt should have been done as a presidential candidate as soon as his dubious connections with Freddie Mac became common knowledge....
