Yes, you are correct Robert. And the chair passed that amendment including the name of God and Jerusalem back to their platform AGAINST their own rules because there in no way was a 2/3 majority that wanted God back in and be included.

I wonder if the chair was more afraid of obama and his brown shirts or God!

The most telling "tell" at the Democrat convention was the cascade of "NOs" when delegates were asked to approve "God" being put back in the platform. This reflects Obama's and the rest of the Democrats' leadership that they want to take the place of God because they know better than Him what is good for us! It's finally over.  Obama hasn't gotten any bump yet, but I've expected that to change.
