Wrong again! No, we are not. Do you actually believe that just because we decide which Presidential candidate is our preference and the one we choose to support and vote to elect means we agree with every single issue of our party's platform?? Did you not have at least one belief, statement or agenda of Mitt Romney's and your party or one item in his prior record that you disagreed with or felt otherwise?? I certainly hope your answer is yes and you are broadminded enough to admit that BOTH sides of the isle have the right and responsibility to consider all the issues on the table, what is at stake, and weighing them out by which candidate they feel is best overall and will be in the best interest of our country. I agree that just about everyone find's something objectionable in their party's platform, however watching the DNC Convention I thought geez isn't there any other issue they are concerned with?

In many cases, people decide who will be the lesser of the two evils. The Presidential Election is not based solely on abortions and planned parenthood programs... Based on every comment and opinion I've heard out of the mouth's of Republicans..... They are mostly a very shallow group of people who can not think outside the box. Enacting laws and creating policies to force people to conform to your beliefs and opinions gets you no where. I take that back... it gets you in position to lose elections.

In contrast, Democrats are much smarter and think deeply about these matters and have figured out that the best way to address these issues are not to force people to comply with our beliefs instead, we would rather find ways to change their beliefs. We know it is much more effective to achieve the same results by using whatever means and resources available ---- volunteers, non-profit organizations, our churches and religious organizations---- to work towards changing society's belief's and strengthening the belief in the alternatives.

Legally prohibiting abortions is not going to stop them. It will just make matters worse and create bigger problems & issues. I bet you have no idea of what the situation is or current statistics are regarding orphans and children (birth to 18yrs old) who are waiting for families

Where you find contempt for what you deem as President Obama's radical abortion record and Democrats being out of touch with it..... myself and all Democrats I know are seriously disturbed and appalled by your party's ability to be so passionate in your concern for the lives of the unborn but then abruptly end your concern for that life after birth, forever more.

YOU and YOUR PARTY are the one's out of touch and clueless about what Americans are about and the things that we can do as a country to better all of our citizens and in turn become stronger, more productive and build security for our future generations.

The saddest part..... the people have spoken, now twice and you & Republicans aren't even close to getting it. But, that's okay, keep your head up your butts and keep acting as if this is the 1950's and go with the ideas of pastie white, old grey haired men with the $2.00 haircuts in your party..... Keep your surrogates Rush, Beck, Fox, etc.. talking it up for you. That all works well for us, I mean you all.

Democrats enact laws which force Catholic organizations to conform to Democratic beliefs.

You sound like my sister, she's a liberal democrat and thinks she knows what's best for everyone too. I tind it totally ironic and more than a bit hyppocrtical that you call yourself much smarter and think much more deeply about the issues and then decide that you have the correct plan or action or answer for everyone.

Does America know how radical Obama really is on abortion?

From Townhall Magazine's November feature, "Democrats: Out of Touch with America on Abortion" by Katie Pavlich:

Standing in downtown Charlotte, N.C., during the 2012 Democratic National Convention in September, Planned Parenthood volunteers yelled on street corners about how to protect women’s rights. Their hot pink t-shirts read “I’m Voting for Barack Obama” on the back and “2012” on the front—with a birth-control wheel in place of the zero.
