Is Thinking Obsolete?

I applaud Mr. Sowell. I'm currently reading his book "The Vision of the Anointed". This book came out in the mid 1990's and I have to say that if people would have read this book then, we would not have these problems now. Just goes to show how effectively the left can suppress works like this.

One question? Why is no one listening to this man? Whybis no one listening to Dr. Ben Carson? I urge people to read Tomas Sowell's "The Vision of the Anointed". If more people would read this book or some others of his, people would make better choices with their politicians. We wouldn't have the problems which we have today.

'Me Too' Republicans

Then please explain why four million republicans stayed home this last election. Conservatism, all by itself is a winning proposition. Not this wishy-washy republicanism.

Mr. Sowell has a very good point. It's a debate this country needs to have soon, very soon. I'm passing this on to others to read and contemplate.
Why do they do this, what possible outcome do the think they will get. If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try again? This reminds me of the fiasco about the hole n the ozone layer. As a building engineer who worked with all types of refrigerants, I had to study and take a test to get accredited to actually work with refrigerants. The price of certain refrigerants skyrocketed beyond belief. Extra equipment had to purchased. But wouldn't you know, 12 years later the experts admitted that they were wrong about the cause of the ozone hole. You see, they first said that one molecule of R-12 would destroy 100,000 molecules of ozone. R-12 was most prevalent of the refrigerants.
Yes, we certainly do need a new party.
I whole heartedly concur.
This is exactly the attitude that Obama and his cronies desire us to have. You may be correct in that they may be investigated and found innocent. They may be investigated and found guilty to the point that they are prosecuted and then found not guilty by the jury. That is something we have no control over. However, the point of the exercise is to at least make their lives very uncomfortable for a while. It will prove to them that we are in fact watching them and holding them responsible for their actions. Consequences folks.
I have to blame Obama for this. Due to his arrogance, the people supporting him are becoming arrogant. They believe that they will get away with these acts because Obama will protect them. However, no one is above the law, not even Obama. These people should be investigated and if found wanting, they should be prosecuted. Not because of payback due to anger, but because it's the law.

Obama's Lincoln Presumption

If Obama actually studied the life of Lincoln, he sure as hell wouldn't be trying to emulate Lincoln. He has nothing in common with the former President. I think he is attempting to skunk the people, those low information voter types, with blarney. Given the state of the electorate, he'll probably succeed in the short run, but I think the electorate is smarter than that.
