there are libertarians and many democrats against gay marriage...not just conservative Republicans......

The types of sexual behaviors popular with homosexuals, but with some heteros, too, are so damaging to the body, people are needing surgery and end up with life long medical problems...this is where I have to say to those in support of same sex marriage that argue about interfering in who someone can love, that doing these things hardly qualifies as love. It is deviant sexual behavior...love has to do with being protective, healthy loving expression and wanting the best for another. No matter what changes have been made to the DSM manual (diagnostic manual for Psychiatric disorders)by a small group of liberal and gay drs, most psychiatrists and therapists still consider homosexuality deviant and a crisis of identity.

Libertarian Christians should not be judged because they believe in freedom for all, as in freewill and the freedom to make one's own choices........These are God's ideas. To say truth is more important than freedom is wonderful, as long as it is your own personal beliefs of what truth is.....otherwise, you lose.............

I am not for ALL of Ron Paul's proposals, either Amy, especially the base closures for the same reasons as you (although things have a way of evolving in time, too)...but am so enthralled with most of his ideology! I have Dem and Rep friends and family that said they would have voted for him, if he had ran......

born gay? oh, born with a sin nature, yes, we all are. Some men would say they have always lusted after children...so that is ok, since they are "born with" this desire? Seems to defy logic and reason to say that whatever behaviors you are born with must be ok and should be celebrated. Chemical addiction is "something they are born with". So why stop their dangerous, unhealthy behaviors? Outside of a Biblical command against homosexuality...I, as a medical professional, know the horrible medical results of using parts of the body outside of what God intended as natural, no matter the "sexual orientation" We have laws that punish lots of behaviors...because human beings have the ability to control themselves and make choices.
