Obama in 2007: I'll Fire Anyone Who Conducts Oppo Research on Personal Matters

Both parties used to be much the same that's true. Not any more. The democrats have moved way off to the left and the Tea Party is forcing the Republicans into fiscal responcebility. Pork loving, big spending Rino's and moderate Bluedog Democrats or a vanishing breed. That is a very good trend as Americans now have a very clear choice between a big goverment left wing party and a small goverment fiscally conservitive party. It is now a far simpler choice for people to make.We have Obama,Holder,Pelosi and Read to thank for that. Now we all know how bad it can get we will stop it.

RINOS???? you mean moderates in the party? Sorry to tell you, most people in the country are moderates, I find it hard to believe that someone can't see that a normal American can not 100% agree with a party......I agree with both parties on things and disagree on others.....

Also just because I do like either candidate I should just not vote? Really is that your suggestion to anyone that is willing to question the GOP?? I am waiting for the debates to see what Romney can do, if he doesn't impress my vote is not going to vote for him, I won't go to Obama, but I will gladly support a third party, they are the true Americans that are trying to save the country....

I also am an indepecent but if you can't see how much the dems have swung left and the repubs are moving right then perhaps you shouldn't vote at all. Bush was a big spender to rival anyone until someone far worse arrived in the Whitehouse. Rino's are being removed from the Republican party just as in Texas last night. Cruze,Rubio,West,Walker,Christy,Jidal etc are the future of the republican party all fiscal conservitives who will work towards a ballanced buget and also a balanced amendment. How can anyone not see that?

at the end of the day the only things they differ on is gay marriage, abortion and some other trivial matters......both parties are horrible, and this country will continue in a downward spiral until we get a solid 3rd or 4th party......

As an Indy i don't see it that way, I agree that they talk differently, but at the end of the day they do the same thing, and to me actions speak louder then words:

Taxes: Obama wants to raise them but so far they are the same, Romney says he will lower them even though we are at historical lows??? he is probably lying, most likely they will remain the same no matter what they say.

Expenses: Obama wants to spend more, and he is, but when I look at how spending increased under Bush, it does not give me much hope that Romney will make cuts...also where will he cut? Neither side will cut social programs, military, or medicare, at the end of the day they spend the same and the debt ceiling will go up under both parties....

It's time once again for a Hopenchange flashback, courtesy of Buzzfeed:

President Obama's reelection campaign has taken criticism for the negative tone of 2012 campaign. One of President Obama's deputy campaign managers, Stephanie Cutter, suggested that his Republican rival Mitt Romney might be a felon. And while some of the attacks seem to be a dig into the candidate's personal lives — such as a DNC ad featuring Mrs. Romney's horse — in 2008 then Senator Obama promised to fire anybody on his staff who did such negative attacks. “I have been very clear...
