Dorner killed 3 people, wounded 3. California Law Enforcement killed Dorner, wounded 4+ innocent civilians in pursuing Dorner, and then burned down the cabin of two other innocent civilians caught in the corss-fire. Not sure who I should be more afraid of here. Dorner is a killer that needed brought down, but not via this Demolition Man path of destruction by the cops through the civilian population.

AR-15 fires a .223 (22 calibre) bullet. Not Designed to Kill people, primarily wounds people. Most hunting riles are 30 cailber and designed to kill creatures much larger than a person. So... I'd much rather be shot with an AR-15 than shot once with any given hunting rifle. So much for taking dangerous guns off the market just because they are made with plastic handles that look scary.

Also, for those who don't understand the nomenclature, AR stood for Armalite who originally developed the designs for the semi-automatic AR-15 and the automatic M-16, AR does not stand for Automatic Rifle. The true Automatic rifle in this case is now designated M-16 which is what the military uses, and is already illegal to sell to civilians.

You’re snug in your cabin in the mountains outside of Big Bear, California. Snug, but fearful. They’re searching for a killer near you. A terrifying, heavily armed former cop from Los Angeles who has gone on a killing rampage.

Suddenly you hear gunshots. You part the curtains to look outside ... and there’s the man whose picture you’ve seen countless times on TV over the past few days running toward your house as he returns fire to police officers in pursuit.

Just a few weeks ago you had been considering buying an AR-15 just in case it might be needed to...
