In Islamic culture this is a double-edged sword for any female. Thanks to the saving of her life, she can now look forward to a future as a slave-bride to a abusive Islamic fundamentalist. I hate to sound harsh in context of the honorable sacrifice of this soldier, given that he did what his Christian cultural morals expected of him.
This is actually true. There are a lot of people I know who support health-care reform of any kind, who will be angry and blame Republicans for killing Obamacare. Some who would otherwise vote against Obama, but are not going to vote against health-care reform killing Republicans. Regardless of the truth of things.
It is time for us to get out of Afghanistan. We're no longer helping them. When it comes to the point of prosecuting U.S. soldiers for burning books the enemy used as means of communications, it makes it clear they don't really want us there. Yeah the books where holy books but the Islamists desecrated the books themselves by using them as a communication tool for the prosecution of war. The U.S. also burned Bibles written in local languages, but nobody is rioting about that.
... but I raised it instead. Sorry.

Oh? When did he say that? Or are you just putting words in his mouth to justify your dislike of him?

Federalists love this guy because he's not a communist like Obama, or a Populist like Romney. The fact he's also in favore of giving newly conceived humans the same chance at life that you were given, that's not a bad thing in my book.

If upholding the original intent of the constitution is wrong, as in protecting state rights, then yeah, Santorum is wrong.

Constitutional rights, which delegate the authority to make these determinations to the states, for which the federal government has usurped? Freedom of States to make the determination without tyranical oversight of federal judicial fiat? Freedom of newly concieved life to have the same chance at life that you were granted? Uhm, yeah, Santorum has it constitutinally right on this one.
