Yet if we returned to a Constitutional government, we could vastly reduce government spending, make it accountable and responsive, and lower costs to the taxpayer. Interested? If on FaceBook check out Action Plan to Restore America.

The really important thing is that we don't need to have the UPSIDE down unconstitutional system we have. If someone's on FaceBook he can check out Action Plan to Restore America and find concrete ideas on going back to the Constitution, which ends more than 90% of the problems we have.

'Hands Off' Our Health Care, Obama

Best response is TRUE reform. We have the plan and it offers: tort reform, gets the government OUT of health care, creates more doctors and nurses, reforms private insurance problems (like ERISA shield), and more. It's here:

Best response to failed policies (aka Obamacare which exists elsewhere and has failed) is REAL reform: tort reform, more doctors and nurses, government OUT of health care, reform of corruption in private insurance (ERISA shield for example). This can be done without increasing our taxes because it would make for a free market. We see the ONLY free market item in health care working correctly: LASIK.
So check out:

for TRUE reform that works.

The Coming Referenda on Obamacare

A comprehensive, free market plan exists that transitions those on government programs to a new plan while private business builds what those on Medicare, Medicaid, and SCHIP need. Then the new government plan is PHASED OUT for private plans. That plan also must support itself (no “deep pockets”) and it is MEANS-TESTED (no free rides on the taxpayer’s dime.)
The plan is catastrophic care that is means-tested with a prevention focus. It would be open to all citizens while more private plans are created. That will happen because regulations are drastically reduced and plans sold across state lines. Private plans also get tax credits to enroll the poor and the sick.
Unlike ALL the UHC plans, ways to get more doctors and nurses is...

Dirty Secret No. 1 in Obamacare

Laurie173 Wrote: Aug 11, 2009 7:46 AM
Kudos to you for reading the bill (which too many Congressmen can't be bothered to do) and for noticing yet another timebomb.
There is NO legitimate reason for bills of this size.
There is an outstanding comprehensive free market reform of the US health system here:
http://www.modernconservative.com/freeandfair.php
The book it is based on is around 100 pages so a real bill could be drawn up for maybe 250 pages if not less.
The REASON for these long bills (and remember bogus cap-and-trade as well was huge) is for these timebombs to lurk in there until Obama has the rest of HIS plans in order, then voila, it's all in the law already.
WAKE UP folks and tell Congress: NO, just VOTE NO, on EVERYTHING you can not be...

Kudos to you for reading it (too bad more Congressmen don't feel such a need) AND for picking up on it.
People, there are points to consider here.
First, there is NO legitimate need for bills of this size--they are that long PRECISELY to bury timebombs like what Chuck Norris just exposed.
Second, there is a REAL comprehensive, FREE MARKET reform plan here:
http://www.modernconservative.com/freeandfair.php
The book it is based on is about 100 pages--so maybe at most 250 pages to put it the plan into bureaucratese aka law. No timebombs in it: no employer mandate, no fines, no coercion, no abortion, no "review panels," NO tax increases for us, no government in our homes. YES to MORE doctors and nurses and YES to CHOICE and...

Gets feds (and taxpayers) OUT of health care and lets US individually take care of ourselves. Affordable. Transitional plan of 20 years where there are tax credits to INSURERS for those whose premiums for the base model plan that is BETTER than Medicare for anyone with a legit financial need.
Addresses tort reform, need for more doctors and nurses, ends pre-existing conditions but without the stupidity of Romneycare's way, addresses long-term care costs, etc. NOT by a politician, but rather someone who understands the Constitution, free market economics, and the health care system.
