If this Patrick thinks the dark ages are over, he is living with his head in a paper bag. I WAS here when Nixon and presidents since were in office. Nothing any of them did compares with the trashing of the country and Constitution we've experienced in these short months of Obama's unfortunate tenure. He and Patrick will be happy only when this country becomes a third-world dictatorship, apparently.

I don't for one minute question Obama's love for America. It's what Obama loves about HIS vision of America that I question and loathe: weak, broke, and...

Sorry -- I'm tired of this country being singled out, even indirectly, such as in this phrase -- as containing racism. While that is certainly true, and I understand the point being made, the US is hardly unique.

There are racists everywhere in the world, not just here. This country is probably even less racist than most. How charming and acceptable is the new racism in South Africa, for example.

So I would change the last sentence to "... in a WORLD where actual racism still exists."
