Obama on the Ropes

Rich, you wish. Sorry -- I wish it were true, but it ain't. The press will let Obama glide through this as he has all other scandals and abuses of power. Oh, this person or that one (Eric Holder, Lois Lerner) may leave. But then it will be all passive-voice-"Mistakes-were-made will" and that will suffice as an apology, and the press will go back to getting leg-tingles and pronouncing Obama to be "god," in exchange for fun visits to the White House. Mark my words.

Well, Laura, I kinda think this way and kinda think about the principle that you can only stretch a rubber band so far. The Press is NOT happy about Obama's AP phone scandal, and even Matthews has said that Obama is answerable for the IRS scandal, too. There are still those defending him, but even they are doing so with an air of desperation.

I agree with hope that it ain't true. Matthews had kind of scolded Obama before, but he got back to his defender self. I'm surprised that HuffPost had come out openly to ask Holder to resign. There will be more people thrown under the bus as more will be revealed, until some of them wake up and start to talk.
If we lose in 2014 in spite of all these, our country is sunk forever ( saying it with a lump in my throat.)

I agree. Nothing seems to stick to his teflon skin.
Every day saddens and frightens me more. I'm 53....... right about the time I'm going to need medical help is just about the time that rationing should be starting. I'm terrified to grow old now.
