Do you know, there are Americans who literally suck the s**t out of sewers and septic tanks? So don't try to tell me there are jobs that Americans WON'T do!! But they won't do it for "pennies an hour". And legally speaking, the illegals shouldn't be doing it for pennies an hour either!

Would they not "self-deport" so we don't have to round them up and deport them?

Are you starting to understand that establishment Republicans are setting up candidates that they KNOW will turn off enough conservatives to ensure that they LOSE!!!! They laugh all the way to the bank soliciting campaign contributions that they funnel to their friends in the advertising, catering, hotel....you name it, industries. They live high on the hog no matter who wins or loses. Same with all the talking heads...

U.S. citizenship requires applicants to swear this solemn oath: "I hereby declare, on oath, that I absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state or sovereignty, of whom or which I have heretofore been a subject or citizen." I love you but, what is the PENALTY for violating this oath? Especially in a world that doesn't believe in God???

His ideas will not only sink himself, but the entire Republican party. The last time Republicans went down this road, they lost big time for 2 election cycles. This time, they will never recover. Face it, no matter what happens, America is lost. It has crossed the Rubicon and is now a socialist state. The Supreme Court has swung liberal, and will only become more so once a couple more justices retire. They will be replaced by either Obama or Hillary.

Hence, the penalties that are SUPPOSED to make committing the crime unappealing. This whole discussion is about ignoring the penalties prescribed by law, and removing their deterring effects. Not only that, but REWARDING those that have ignored the laws (and broken other laws in the process) with permanent residency at the least, and most likely, citizenship. I say we all just go out and start robbing banks tomorrow. If enough of us do it, then they will make that legal too.

Marco's parents were NOT US citizens when he was born. The traditional definition of a "Natural Born Citizen" is where BOTH parents are citizens at the time of the child's birth. Unfortunately, this standard has never been enforced, and has been watered down to mean anyone who was born here, regardless of their parents' status. So basically, the current standard only prevents "Naturalized Citizens" from becoming President.

I agree with you, but it will NEVER happen. In fact, if it ever came before the Supreme Court, my guess is that they'd say that Obama, Rubio and all the others ARE eligible to be president. That ship has sailed. Congress failed to stop it when they could have, and the courts have tossed every suit that has tried to get Obama out, no matter what argument was used. How do you defend yourself and family when you can't identify your enemy, but your enemy knows EVERYTHING about you? No, you do what you're told and pray for your soul. Because the world is praying you go to H*77 for destroying the country!!

Rubio will never be president. Next up will likely be Hillary. In fact, I think it's incredibly unlikely that we'll EVER see another Republican/Conservative president. There is NO upside for Republicans on this issue. Once the Immigration Bill comes out, Republicans will either fall all over themselves pushing for it (and alienating their base) or running from it (alienating Hispanics). And when it passes, Obama will get the credit, and the Dems will point out that they had to drag the Republicans kicking and screaming to get it done. No matter what, the Dems win, and you can kiss Florida and Texas goodbye. There's no way a Republican can win without Florida, much less Texas to boot.
