How the GOP Lost Middle America

Don't forget that the war on America's heritage and institutions began in academia, not the business world. And it is ludicrous to expect that this culture is going to produce 'leaders', anywhere in the society, that is going to reflect anything but narcissism. Just can't happen.

Don't forget, the war on America, its heritage and institutions, was mounted in our academic institutions, not businesses, and was aided and abetted by parents losing interest in instilling 'values' in their children. It is ludicrous to expect our culture to produce 'leaders', anywhere in the society to reflect anything but narcissism.

There is some truth in the article, but..... The giant corporations arose only because Congress went beyond its enumerated powers. Labor unions grew to power only because Congress and the Judiciary abandoned the Constitution. And it is doubtful that America could sustain a viable workforce after the advent of unconstitutional government handouts.

No, it is true. Else how do you explain the barbarity and genocide of Robespierre, Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, Guevera, etc.?

Why Congress Is Held in Contempt

The outcome of big government is bigger government. The Congressmen who believe in 'more government' believe in more government. The natural outcome of their worldview is a stronger and stronger executive branch at the expense of both the legislative and judicial branches. And since government is the solution to all problems, we merely have to get the right person as the all powerful President. Some bright, charismatic person with a plan.........

The result of narcissism. The pinnacle of selfishness and covetousness. The consequences of failing to learn and teach our children virtues, the ten commandments, to love others, etc. And we wiil reap what we have sown.

It would be nice to read objective data on the subject. The fact that such material is not easily found speaks volumes. For example, did not the current warming trend begin before it began to dispel the last ice age? Hasn't that been a good thing? Didn't the sea levels begin to rise when the ice began to melt or did the continents rise enough to offset the melting ice as the weight of the ice upon them diminish? How do you explan Doggerland, Prosper Cave, the drying up of our southwest by 500 AD? Etc.
