MSNBC's Harris Perry: Clarence Thomas Doesn't Represent Blacks

I want those that claim he doesn't represent blacks or isn't black enough to go live as he lived growing up. They couldn't do it! Small mostly black community, no sewage system, hard work. At seven years old he moved in with family in Savannah and had indoor plumbing and regular meals. His grandfather believed in hard work and self-reliance; he would counsel Thomas to "never let the sun catch you in bed." Thomas's grandfather also impressed upon his grandsons the importance of getting a good education.[5 Maybe it is the aspect of hard work and education that they do not want to hear about!

How about watching the video Lars, or at least reading my comment above.
